Age Concern Cymru
Age Concern Cymru is a registered charity whose mission is to improve life for all older people in Wales. They believe that older people in Wales should be able to lead healthy and fulfilled lives, have adequate income, access to high quality services and the opportunity to shape their own life.

British Institute of Human Rights
The British Institute of Human Rights (BIHR) is an independent charity based in London which raises awareness and understanding about the importance of human rights. It works for some of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable communities in the UK, seeking to ensure that the principles of equality, dignity and respect are incorporated into practice and policy at all levels of public service.

Children in Wales
Children in Wales are the national umbrella childrens organisation in Wales. They aim to promote the interests of and take action to identify and meet the needs of children, young people and their families in Wales.

Citizens Advice Bureau
Equality issues
Caerphilly County CAB believes that every individual should have equal rights and opportunities and equal access to services. It opposes all forms of discrimination or harassment on the grounds of: sex, marital status, race, disability, religion, HIV/AIDS status, sexuality and age. We are working towards being a first point of contact for all concerns over discrimination.

Commission for Equality and Human Rights
The Equality Act 2006 has gained royal assent, and this will eventually put expertise on equality, diversity and human rights all in one place. The Act establishes the Commission for Equality and Human Rights (CEHR) that will come into being in October 2007. The CEHR will bring together the expertise and resources to promote equality and tackle discrimination in relation to gender, gender reassignment, disability, sexual orientation, religion or belief, age and human rights from October 2007, and will include Race by April 2009 Website: www.cehr.org.uk
Commission for Racial Equality Wales
The Commission for Racial Equality in Wales works for a just and integrated Wales, where diversity is valued. Their aim is to work towards the elimination of discrimination, the promotion of equality of opportunity and good race relations across the whole of Wales.

The Equal Opportunities Commission deal with sex discrimination and inequality related to gender, including good practice in the fair and equal treatment of men and women.

Inter Faith Council
The Inter Faith Network for the UK was founded in 1987 to promote good relations between people of different faiths in this country. Its member organisations include representative bodies from the Bahai; Buddhist; Christian; Hindu; Jain; Jewish; Muslim; Sikh; and Zoroastrian communities; national and local inter faith bodies; and academic institutions and educational bodies concerned with inter faith issues.
