Age is Just A Number! Lapel pins 05/01/2012
Look out for the Age Is Just A Number! Lapel pins. This is the latest approach taken By the 50+ Positive Action Partnership to encourage people to challenge Agesim. This follows the intergenerational photographic competition that launched the orginal campaign. The 12 winning images have been exhibited across Wales from the Eisteddfod to the Assembly. 
 
The images where then used as a 2010 calendar and as  a driver for a quesionaire that was complete by over 600 people. The resulting report was published and used to encourage the media and other organisations to think more about the langauge and images they use of older and younger people. BBC Wales agreed to circualte the recommendations to thier production staff.
